“Naked Lunch –a frozen moment when everyone sees what is on the end of every fork.”

William S. Burroughs

Pulsating reflection of the
Ceiling fan on the idle fork
Resting in a yellow paddle of
Olive oil on the empty plate –
A little silver stream going
Nowhere – a place to stop
As good as any other.
